Carla Hart, MSED, is the Owner and CEO of Crystal Waves Wellness.

Through Crystal Waves Wellness, she facilitates immersive sound baths and integrative events designed to address the unique needs of each participant, supporting nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and restorative care. She is a trauma-informed sound healing practitioner and Second-Degree Reiki practitioner with a foundation in clinical care and a heart for integrative wellness.

Carla holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Florida State University, along with a master’s degree in Special Education from George Mason University with an emphasis on learning, behavior, and the brain. She spent much of her career developing educational programs within healthcare systems across the United States. This is where she saw firsthand how integrating therapeutic arts into the lives of individuals with medical conditions could profoundly influence their health journey and overall trajectory. Her early career focused on communication and neurological rehabilitation, but it was her personal journey with vicarious trauma and chronic pain that deepened her path.

Today she blends clinical insight with sensory-rich design to create restorative experiences that honor the nervous system, invite reflection, and gently reconnect body, mind, and spirit.

In her free time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors, finding fun places to do yoga, being a tourist in her own town, traveling, and reading great books. Fun Fact: Carla was on the Synchronized Swim Team in college.
