Julie Landy, PhD

Dr. Julie Landy is the Director of Assessment, Professional Growth, and Community Services Initiatives for the Center for Instruction, Technology, and Innovation in Oswego County, New York.

Juls has worked in education for 30 years. She started as a special education teacher, moved into a technical assistance role facilitating a quality improvement process for special education services for districts in New York, transitioned into a secondary principal, and then became a director at the Center for Instruction, Technology, and Innovation, where she has been for the past 10 years.

In her current position, Juls has provided professional development related to ACES, trauma, mental health, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools (TCIS), communication, and more.

With the Community Services component of her job, Juls sits on numerous committees for Oswego County including the Community Services Board, the Crisis Intervention Advisory Committee, the Public Health and Safety Team, and the Professional Advisory Committee for the health department. Juls is also on the board of the Weston T. Hyde Educational Foundation and a member of the Oswego County Trauma Informed Collaborative.

Juls holds a master’s in education administration from Scranton University and Doctorate of Education in Education Administration from University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
